What Happens on a
Rounding Retreat?
you round
A round starts with a specially designed set of yoga postures that help to de-excite the body in preparation for meditation. These are light, easy and pleasurable moves that anybody can do. We follow this with some light breathwork through the nostrils before commencing our meditation, and then we finish the sequence with an extended lie down

you release stress
On retreat, we do one round after the next, getting up to multiple rounds in one day. By doing this, we're able to get the body into a deep and sustained state of rest, which supports purification and release of accumulated stress at an accelerated rate. In just one long weekend, you're able to release as much stress as you would in several months' of twice daily meditation.

you eat nourishing food
All meals are catered for by on-site Ayurvedic chefs who lovingly prepare fresh, nourishing, easy to digest food that compliments our meditation program and supports the body's natural purification process. Meals are served family style to to cater for all appetites, to accommodate food allergies and preferences, and to encourage connection within the group.

you gain new knowledge
If you have a question, Veda has an answer. So, twice a day we take time to check in, share Vedic Wisdom and explore anything you might be feeling curious about. These talks are enlivening, thought-provoking and expansive, providing a fresh perspective on life, which can be both validating and evolutionary. What comes up? It's up to you.

you reconnect with nature
While our meditation program connects you with your inner nature, we start every morning with an optional sunrise walk through the misty eucalypt forest in the Blue Mountains National Park. Our accommodation surrounds are abundant with birds and wildlife, and this daily walk allows for time to pause and observe the natural beauty all around us.

you stargaze
You spend most of the retreat going inward. On starry nights we reverse the direction and take a walk to look above and outward. We work with local Astronomers who joins us with their telescope to reveal the pristine night sky, from bright constellations, details of the moon and rare celestial finds.

you meet interesting people
Anyone who is willing to invest in a long weekend for their own wellbeing is going to be an interesting person to start with. And because our retreats are a melting pot of people from all walks of life, we find that the people in this community have wonderful, heart-warming, and funny stories to share. Arrive as strangers, leave as friends. What could be better?
